Grant Information for the Arts in Minnesota

The arts in Minnesota are supported by a variety of state and private organizations. We have provided a partial list below to get you started.

The State of Minnesota

The State of Minnesota appropriates grant money in two ways:
(1) The Minnesota State Arts Board, which serves the entire state and
(2) the eleven Regional Arts Councils, which provide grants in local Economic Development Zones for smaller arts organizations, artists and schools in their local geographic areas to ensure that the arts reach every corner of Minnesota.
